RGS’ present campus at Steven Road is very expensive prime land. Many sharp eyed vultures have already been eyeing this piece of land years ago. Is just a matter of time that RGS will be "kicked out" from it.
Where will the new RGS campus be located? -

I just confirmed with my batch's vice-head prefect. RGS will be relocated to Braddell Westlake, it is a bridge across the backgate of RI(JC) plus a short distance away. no worries, bus 156 reaches the nearest bus stop.RGS' present campus at Steven Road is very expensive prime land. why class 208, 209, 210, 211 and 213 students can get a macbook or ipad, but class 212 students get nothing? how come class 212 so special?

IMHO, whatever cost they incur to build the new campus, it is more than offset from the value they get from the land released for commercial / residential use at Anderson road. NOT zero sum game for the gahmen........

(Yes it is 9 ZERO's ....)[/quote]The Westlake/Braddell place is wasting money now anyway. If they give it to RGS, spend some millions building it up, but can free up the prime land at Anderson Road to build condo... makes all $$ sense mah...
but dunno why so long still no approval given. After approval, still need tender, build and all... think will be delayed for another few years again... -

Or is it part of that piece of old schools land?[/quote]For sure it's demolishing the existing schools and rebuilding on that land. But not sure about whether is it all the land there. The school was offered part of the land some years back, after RI and RJC moved there, but they turned it down becos the land was smaller than RI's. Then just 1-2 yr ago they were offered the same location, but larger land - and they finally accepted.
