Oh really? That's bad. Then in this case, it's safer to dine at McDonald's...
CNY can be boring with all the visitations. Non-Chinese can enjoy the holiday but do remember to stock up their fridge bcos stalls will be closed and food may be stale. I once had diarrhea after eating at hawker centre on the 4th day of CNY.janet_lee88:
Sadly...no. I don't have the spirit anymore, and I'm still afraid of the past CNY in which the fear of that horrible thing (not related to CNY) and how overwhelming the celebrations were.
This year would definitely go better.
Normally we eat out at non Chinese stalls which are booming biz during CNY periods, normally good Malay/Indian stalls better check out as gonna longer queues or waiting time expected during CNY periods..

Markets will be closed 2moro (I think) and what's left to be sold are the leftovers. Even though supermarkets are opened, but what is avail are also leftovers. My mum said eggs sold out at Shop n Save.
Today I went to take a look at the mandarin oranges. I have left it to the last minute. Yes, mostly leftovers!
Anyway, got just one pack of 18 oranges and ate one to try, not bad! I just need to use it for \"pai nian\" thats all. Not going to buy so many like 2 years ago and almost half of them ended up rotting in the fridge!

Ya actually we don't need so many oranges coz can \"re-cycle\". Only need 2 oranges for a day's visitation, but must make sure the other party returns us 2 oranges... otherwise, got to ask them back it. Otherwise, cannot visit next house.janet_lee88:
