Times Bookshop ? How much ?
I have Study Helpers too...bought from Popular last year.

Son's homework really flooding in...not all 4 subjects but 2 or 3 subjects with many questions which require time to think.

Thinking Skills to better your english is an old book printed in 2007, knowledge based one. I got the P2 book.

speaking of son ..how is he now? My dd has started the model drawing at school. the teacher gave her only simple , straight Qs to practice drawing..so she came and told me with a big ๐Ÿ˜„ \"ITs very easy\" :?

He's much better now, thanks for asking. What a relief.
Sent the doctor a thank-you card. She's really good.

Next Friday, daughter's school will have P1 briefing...so happens parents out of town...so hubby has to attend the briefing himself as it is for parents and letter mentioned it's for parents only...have to stay home to look after the kids.

        Hi plum-cake,
It's great that your DD has grasped the concept of models well. The earlier she picks up this skill, the easier she will find using models for problem sums. Hope you've mastered your models from the FAN book..hehe

Yes, he's pretty hands-on where kids' education is concerned.

sam got 10 apples and mummy gave him 5 more apples. she thinks thats all. the modell is finished. :scared:

i'm currently using practice paper type. I used to buy many more for my older kids but now only focus on these two eng assessment books for my youngest DS. - Top Marks in English (success publication) and classroom eng model paper ( casco).

these two got my choice as the format is similar to my DS's sch paper. ๐Ÿ˜„

                      Hi Janet,
I tend to buy separate ones to cater to my DD's weakness - teachers@work: Conquer Vocab and Longman effective grammar. That way, I can focus more on her weaker areas.

In view of impending CA1, I've just bought Oxford Primary Essentials English test papers to give her an overview of what the test paper will look like.

                        Janet,

I went to popular today, I saw the weekly one. its not that impressive. top of that I am using teachers at work as well. I have vocab, grammer, cloze comprehension. all in one is difficult to maintain but money wise cheap. for seperate title you can do a target drill.

if you have time go to moe website and look for primary english syllabus.
flip through the pages and get only vocab and grammar sec. you'll get the pic of what you need to know for each grade. p1 n p2 conquer titles are having same pattern of questions which you can practice...

Hi, Oxford Primary Essentials English test papers Did you buy that today ?
I saw someone holding that at Toa Payoa. pop.
Ok my dd said there is no english ca1 for them so I didn't buy the test papers yet, for english.
