Not sure about the majority of the PSLE leavers though ..
Is there any way to find out what is the average aggregate score of PHPPS PSLE students ?


Also, need some advice from parents here - do you spend time revising work with your child on a daily basis ? I realised that my gal doesn't have much homework, and most of the worksheets are done in school and its hard for me to gauge her progress or know what is taught in school other than asking her and testing her using assessment books. I read from the website that the SA1 is approachign soon, how do I find out what are the areas to be tested ?

If I'm not mistaken, mean score for PH PSLE results 2010 was 228 which is very respectable. You mean there's not much hw for P2? Yesss!

Went for my medical checkup last fri at jurong east and came across this enirchment/tuition ctr called Newton Apple. Surprising their PSLE results posted outside their ctr is really good, think I saw > 80% getting at least A for each of the 3 subjects (but pls verify this yourself as I may have got too excited by what I saw).


I mean the surprising thing is not that their results are so good. The surprising thing is that how come I never hear of them until recently when they're so good. :lol:

Too bad ds is already settled in all his enrichments so I don't want to rock the boat unnec. If anyone is interested to try, pls update us here whether they're as good as they claim. The std caveat pple must say when recommending ctrs is that \"I'm not in any way related to this ctr, just thought I should be sharing what looks like a good deal.\" There it goes.

Did your dd study in PHPPS when she was P1? why I ask is that is how PHPPS system work in P1 and P2 except this year there is no streaming from P1 to P2. Will like to found out more b4 sharing.

From what I know, the COP for CHIJ TP is 200. It will be raised in 2016 for affiliated (feeder). The COP mentioned for the schools below are for non-affiliated schools:

My daughter is in P1 in another school...like your gal, most of the work is done in school. I can't remember if my son in P1 (Pei Hwa) back then has homework or not. I'm also frustrated as I have no idea what has been taught, and have to wait for worksheets to be returned.
Anyway, I revise with her everyday...for eg Grammar on Mon, Vocab on Tue, Maths on Wed. Try to cover Grammar/Vocab/Cloze/Comprehension on weekdays. Sunday is her day to play.
