yes... was written in his diary... that was how i found out...
could it be because his class did not have any test last Friday?

but it could also mean that he already had those tests without my knowledge.
which is very likely the case, because his class won't be spared those tests.

sigh .... i feel bad to write an email to the form teacher to ask for a schedule of test dates but such info is impt too!

its not like the school deliberately left the parents out of the test dates so that the teachers can assess the child's learning because like in kit's case ... you are informed.

but in my case, the communication link ended with my son and i am left in the dark. if not for this forum, i wouldn't even have known! :?

Sun_2010 also did mention that her DS did not have the test.

I'm not sure if any other parents here could share. Maybe good for us to find out more first?

Cody: I went home and did a check. It was written Maths Quiz 2 on his diary and not Topical Test. I'm sorry that I have created unnecessary worries for you. My apologies. 😞

            Hi all,

            No worries kit.

DS did not go to school of Fri. There was only one maths quiz so far for him. Maybe they have it this week? Lets keep it posted here if we know of tests that way atleast we can follow up

Any of you kids dressing up as book charecters?
Do they have to do anything or just go in the character dress?

is it necessary to dress up and it has to be some story characters... quite tough...

so sun, what are you gonna dress your DS up as?

                  Hi

Nice to meet you too! Do you know when is the book fair? I have already sent the photo to the teacher.

                  Cheers!

Hi Kanyaramesh, I know there is one tomorrow , is that the one u are talking about?

                    Kit, cody,
I am still sourcing for costume. Will have to workout this weekend. Will let you know soon.

But what are they expected to do - any ideas?
DS said he has to say a few lines as the character . But am wondering is it within the classroom or in assembly hall? Assembly would be too intimidating to DS i think and he may just clamp up .

I think the one tmrw is for sale of books. They have one where the kids have to dress up as characters. I forgot when that is.
