You are referring to electronic dict? Can P1 use those in sch?

Yes, the electronic dictionary.. I'm not sure if P1s can use electronic dict in school. My DD started using only now at Pri 3... πŸ˜„

My son also bought the Creative from school. He said it's more user-friendly than the Besta...now the Besta is white elephant.[/quote]Yes, cheap and good. My DD has been using it quite often since she bought it. πŸ˜‰

Just went to PH website and found out that … Yes!! Finally the PSLE results for 2009/10 is updated! Interesting to note that the sch actually gave distinction between A & A*.

To get A*, range starts from 91 and above right ?

Hey, a 2010 P6 parent told me that for last yr's PSLE , 25% of PH students scored 250+ (T-score) and 40% of students scored 240+!!

Wow, I thought that is very comforting to know! So if our kids still in the top 40 percentile, assuming the results stay or improve .. then they are in pretty good shape - haha, at least according to my standard lah πŸ˜„

Heard last year PH did pretty well for PSLE.
I would be relieved if my son is able to get 240...think can get into Bukit Panjang High with 240 right ?

From what I understand 2009 PSLE is a big improvement over 2008. And looks like 2010 PSLE is a big improvement over 2009. When a sch changed P and then the results improved dramatically, think it's good to give credit to the P for the leadership, notwithstanding the fact that the HODs, teachers do the bulk of the work.

All hail the P & staff of PH. :udawoman: :udaman:
