My child preferred Creative HansVision e-Dictionary, mentioned more user friendly.

Please keep the purchase receipt for the warranty purpose, I think it come with 1 year limited warranty..

Ok, had kpo and found out that the latest Creative (cannot cnfm, should be this brand) has more Chinese Idioms than the rest.

So for those who have not gotten the e-dictionary yet may consider this. But must try to see if can get any warranty to be safe.

        HTH.

We have both Creative and Besta.

Besta is shell case packaging. Maybe more durable ? DS started with Besta and he prefers Besta. Keypad is bigger and there is 笔划 function to show each stroke in big font.

I am left with using the Creative (not the latest version). No shell-case and keypad is small.

I didn’t do a comparision - Vocabulary and 成语 lookup, so far, haven’t found one to be more superior than the other (now at P5).

My DD is in Pri 3 this year and we recently bought Creative PX2101 from school. I think it is one of the approved E-dictionary.

                Thanks for the link!

Besta models approved by SEAB for use from till 2012/2014 (depending on the model).
Creative models approved by SEAB for use till 2015 (for both PX 2051 & PX2101 models).

The retail price at Popular and school will be the same. The price at Popular (fixed price, no member discount). If the school is organising a sales, then it will be cheaper.

I am also making a decision to buy one soon.

No need to think so hard leh.

It is definitely approved by SEAB. Otherwise, if they sell the unauthorised model, they will get a lot of feedback, complaints and requests for refunds. Usually, the school will have approved/granted for the sale of those models before the vendors or the school bookstore vendor can go to the school to sell.

I just got the Besta one cos it has 60000词, think Creative Hansvision is 46000.

Also, feel the buttons to press are bigger. DS prefers Creative cos more friends using that.

Hi to all parents whom have purchased the CD737S (https://www.popular.com.sg/jsp/product/product_detail.jsp?vca001=35155&vpd001=95687). A few days ago, I dropped over to Popular and the sales girl done a demo to me. Thot is a bit pricy, I'm contemplating to get one for my P3 but I worry that after a while, it becomes white elephant. I would like to know for those whom have purchased it, appreciate if you can share your view that is it very useful? Does your kid likes it and and make use of it? Any improvement in his/her Chinese/English? Any feedbacks welcome. Thks.
