I don't mind paying if it's an enrichment that I would like her to take up anyway eg. Maths Olympiad training and it's definitely much cheaper to co-pay in school than to go externally for the same course šŸ˜‰

Can't say the same for orchestra though. Theory taught was a mess. Fingering taught was a mess. Withdrawn my dd from CCA and engage a private teacher instead. So I guess I can't be a cheapo afterall šŸ˜›

Ya, agree with it was something we want her to take up, so we just paid. But then, every CCA in her school cost at least $165 and above.. Tsk tsk. Is that a norm in pri schs?

Even for her PE lessons, the sch brought external vendors in, so no choice have to pay another $220.

I don't wanna think abt the overseas immersion in her later years...

CCA and anything outside of regular curriculum, I don't mind paying.

But to have to pay for PE? Why do they need external vendors for PE?[/quote]To excite, experience & enrich them :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

My dd had Gymnastics for PE in p1-p3 in her school. Yes, the PE teachers were qualified to teach. They actually identify the gym girls from there. We didn't pay extra. Then p4-p6 they do track/field n again they identify suitable girls fr there for school team.
