I would assume these are non-appointment holders/ new members... 1st step towards being GRL... -
can accumulate years of rc service ?
exampe:
join rc young, at age 20.
get married at 25, by 30 give birth to 2 kids (1 boy, 1 girl).
means total accumulated 10 yrs of rc, from age 20 to 30.
can this person then use accumulated 10 yrs rc work - to join phase 2b to allow boy and girl go different school in same GRC ? -
Daddy
This is generic term referring to all volunteers in GROs, be it GRL or otherwise. To others, we are all volunteers. If they put GRL, think no one will dare to step forward.

Hi Busymomtimtim:
Hi Busymom, did you serve in CCC or RC? Is the GRC also where you reside?
Ok, let me clarify. DH serves in CCMC, but not in the GRC that we reside. We thought that allows us to apply for schools in the GRC where he serves, but in the end, we could apply for schools in both the GRC he serves, as well as the GRC that we reside.
That was last year, I hope the rule hasn't changed for this year.
Can you share how did your husband get appointed in CCMC ? -
erm… by helping out in the MPS weekly, and thereafter as an observer in CCMC and eventually become a EM. Sorry, I don’t have full knowledge of the details, but I think you need recommendation from the advisor to be appointed in CCC or CCMC.

THC:
Why not if you are still serving in your RC when your 2nd child is due to registration

The 12 single member constituencies are Bukit Panjang, Hong Kah North, Hougang, Joo Chiat, Mountbatten, Pioneer, Potong Pasir, Punggol East, Radin Mas, Sengkang West, Whampoa and Yuhua.
The two four-member GRCs are Holland-Bukit Timah and Moulmein-Kallang.
The 11 five-member GRCs are Aljunied, Bishan-Toa Payoh, Chua Chu Kang, East Coast, Jurong, Marine Parade, Nee Soon, Sembawang, Tampines, Tanjong Pagar and West Coast.
There two six-member GRCs are Ang Mo Kio and Pasir Ris-Punggol.
For the 2006 General Election, the report was released about seven weeks before nomination day. -

Very interesting.....
Bukit Panjang, Hong Kah North, Hougang, Joo Chiat, Mountbatten, Pioneer, Potong Pasir, Punggol East, Radin Mas, Sengkang West, Whampoa and Yuhua will make up the 12 single member constituencies.
The two four-member GRCs are Holland-Bukit Timah and Moulmein-Kallang.
The 11 five-member GRCs are Aljunied, Bishan-Toa Payoh, Chua Chu Kang, East Coast, Jurong, Marine Parade, Nee Soon, Sembawang, Tampines, Tanjong Pagar and West Coast.
Moulmein is now part of Moulmein-Kallang GRC instead of Tanjong Pagar GRC. Radin Mas now become a SMC
Alot of good schools in Moulmein & Radin Mas
Definitely will affect parents here... Good news for those stay in Kallang/Jalan Basar and bad news for those stay in Tanjong Pagar GRC
Lucky for those staying at Holland-Bukit Timah GRC. No changes -
Now Nan Chiau under Sengkang West SMC instead of AMK GRC. Think shouldn’t affect most parents since one usually need to be within 1km to enter NCPS under phase 2b.
