WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE REGIME?
-
buds hubs:
Maybe thats why women cry more than men??
Again with personal experience, disagree (CKS, we need a bleep/buzzer emoticon) :politebleah:
Women do cry more often, but when men do cry (at least 3 that I witness), oh my.... very difficult to stop and in quantity too. I think women easier to coax, men can be stubborn and go into dead ends. -
DH and I have just started our exercise regime recently after a trail from Hort Park to Mount Faber. Last week, we walked from West Coast Park to HarbourFront (digressed at NUS for reminiscence). This weekend, we are planning to go for the East Coast trail.

Well done! But you know what they say: You can only make or break a habit by doing it or by going cold turkey for 21 consecutive days. Report back here to tell us about your sucess after 21 weeks

hi playfulfairy, how do you get from west coast park to harbourfront? We've walked the trail from harbour front to hort park to kent ridge but haven't figured out how to get to west coast park. Is there a proper park connector or do you just walk along the road?Last week, we walked from West Coast Park to HarbourFront (digressed at NUS for reminiscence). Well Done playfulfairy... I really hope that you and DH can keep up maintaining a healthy lifestyle. As CKS mentioned, do keep all of us updated of your progress.. :celebrate:mathsparks:

I believe she must have walked along the road pavement.. :?hi playfulfairy, how do you get from west coast park to harbourfront? From KR Park you can either go down vigilante drive and then down south buona vista road, continue along pasir panjang road to West Coast park, or from KR park, join up to science park 1, prince georges park road (or kent ridge road) and then pasir panjang (or clementi road) to west coast park. All roadside pedestrian pavement, not park linker. -
haha 3Boys, you are oh so right! DH and I walked from West Coast Park to Clementi Woods, then to NUS, Kent Ridge Park, Vigilante Drive⦠(yup no park connectors)
Love those trails with steps and steep slopes, the challenges send my adrenalin pumping. That time, I brought my dd1 and baby dd2 to hike at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. DD1 was grumbling all the way up the steep slope till we descended.
Hmm beside East Coast and the parks in the East, are there any other hiking trails in Singapore that you have unravelled?
Really miss cycling on the roads and in Pulau Ubinβ¦ Love the feel of the sea breeze and speeding in East Coast Park. Pity DH doesnβt cycleβ¦ Haha hopefully, Iβll be prepared to run with him in the 10km Stan Chart Run this Decβ¦

Hah hah, this area is my running haunt, have been up and down, every which direction, extending to Mt Faber (shiong but shiok!). 10k very doable, just make sure you hit about 7-8k in training, prob need to clock about 20k/week (6k, 6k, 8k) to be comfortable.

Any chance you know the actual mileage for this route.. Tried to do it via Map My Run but as you know it not always that \"accurate\" plus/minus the up/downhills.. Thanks :celebrate:
