hehe, mark was purposely to change topic...
The travel agent specially explained that the incident happened on a small cruise company, the cruise called β€œBein Mo cruise\"which only can take 27passangers. But this travel agent does not work with the small cruise company, they will book Victory star cruise which is one of big cruise companies. πŸ˜‰
I see. But it's still a worry though, going so soon after the incident.

Did some purchase on scholastic online and remember some technicalities.

For example, if I bought some books that cost around 75 pound.

If I have a UK address to send to ... for > 25 pound it is FOC for freight
but without a UK address it is an additional 35 pound for freight to Singapore.

However, these are bought from the UK Book Club Site. If you buy from the International Site (there is a banner that says click here if you are buying from Singapore) then the price would be 177 pound (for the same books) + 20 pound freight.

                  So ..

Buy from UK Site .. with address 75 pound
Buy from UK site ... without address 75+35=110 pound
                  Buy from International Site ..... 177+20 = 197 pound. πŸ˜›

So you guys do the maths πŸ˜‰

Incidentally I also did some checks.

Using the Horrible Science Pack as example:

Buy from UK site: 24.99+22 = 46.99 pounds
Buy from Intl site: 37.5+15 = 52.5 pounds

So not much saving in this case. The question is whether buy from Intl site will have lower lead time or other advantages?

Hi, I made a purchase from the international site n got my order delivered via dhl within a week and was charged in US$ for the whole pack of HSc series (book pack $59.25 & DHL $23).
