A friend mentioned to me that once Girls have their menses, they don't grow in height anymore. Is it true? What about boys huh? when do they stop growing?

the nurse who came to my gal's school recently (rountine checking) said that too,
which makes me worry of her height.

I think any teenager grow the fastest during their sec sch years. That is 14-16 year old.
Ksp, i really hope so .....as my gal is not really growing taller, hope by 14-16 she can grow taller.

I stopped growing vertically at the age of 12-13! 😢 😢 and now worse, only horizontally!! 😢 😢 😢
You very funny. šŸ™‚

Ballet from young helps a great deal!

My cousin, with almost the same genes, became the tallest gal among us cousins - 1.74m  and the rest of us were shorter than 1.6m... šŸ˜ž

She was the only one who did ballet... stretching helps
but my gal who does ballet from young din help leh... šŸ˜‰
and i also see her ballet mates, some even shorter than her , though there're some tall ones.

Someone once told me that those who learn ballet practise their core muscles a lot, hence they tend to be ermm... less endowed... So DH doesn't want to let DD learn ballet.  But I certainly do love the poise and elegance exhibited in ballerinas.

I actually remembered I stopped growing drastically at about 13 too. Thereafter it is like a centimeter a year till about 16. Nowadays, the kids are taller and I would not want mine to have to look up everytime he speaks to his frens
