I think I will try to go for both lesson, but if it proves to be too time-consuming and tiring for my kid, I will forfeit the 1st and go for the 2nd one. Rather waste money than waste time and tire-out kiddo in order to make money worth.

Ask for refund! Sit down and talk about your child's lack of progress 😛 Most likely will give up partial refund.

Otherwise, forfiet the lessons. I understand how money is of great value, but putting your child for mutliple lessons will scare your child and over-stretch him. He also might be confused with too many different teaching methods and cause even more damage to his studies. He'll learn the ultimate skill of all Singaporean kids, \"Brain Shut Off\".

Education would never be more expensive than ignorance.

For unconsumed classes only. Let’s say there are two lessons per week, and you are paying 600 every 3 month. You do not intend to go for the remaining last month which you have already paid.

While it is worth $200, maybe you can try getting back $100. Its not a huge percentage but it can buy a good meal right?

Usually enrichment centers don’t entertain refund request. Or at least I’ve not heard of any successful cases

In fact, some centers even asked for deposit & parents need to give 1 month notice before withdrawal or else deposit forfeited

sending the chilld to multiple centres to try out 2 centres concurrrently not only tires him or her but me the mummy too. plus 3 kids to ferry for courses, its scary. so sometimes i just forfeit but just take the notes but dont go for 1 lesson or two.

another questn, if the tuition happens during exam period and the subject tested is over, do u still send the kid to the class or forfeit that lessn to prepare for next exam subject?

I will forefeit the 1st centre.

Actually I’ve just forefeited 8 lessons out of 10 for the 1st centre cos DS is not learning from them whereby the 2nd centre is individualised attention.

Heartache over the money but is even more heartaching to see DS attend double dose and is stretched…

Also cos 1st centre is boring… dont want to kill DS’s interest in that subject

In fact, I have forefeited lots of fees and deposits over the years… Cos DS and myself have very strong negative opinions over some centres. Some of them are really lousy thus I dont want to waste time, effort, petrol, parking etc…

However, there were incidents where 1st centre is bearable and 2nd centre is willing to hold the position, I will finish the 1st one.

i see. so far i had done it only once when i signed up eng class for both #1 and #2 back to back, so tiring n no plc to loitor around but also for #2 the class was lousy, no proper notes. just copy things from the board, so i gave up after 2 lessons.

recently forfeited the ch compo class cos i didnt see any work after 5 lessons
