Can experience parent or senior here enlighten me what happen if DS fail current affair ? he called to say he failed independant studies already ... fail current affair no chance to make it up this year he is so sad how can we help him

May I know the reason?[/quote]The LEP lesson is only on Mon and Thur and it clashes with his other classes on both days. He has no time to attend the lesson so he does not want it to affect his overall result.

ds complained he had no time to eat in school today :!: The canteen is always so so crowded and so many long Q. For once he join the q of chicken rice, when come to his turn, the last plate was just sold, and he has no time to join the other Q before his classmate ask him for project discussion. If it carry on like this, I wonder how is he going to survive there ? Feel school needs to do something about it … do your ds face the same issue.

My DS also said so. Most of the time he will go for the one with shortest q, ie the one that is most NOT delicious.

Yesterday they had a session with the consortium director, there are people who feedback about EMBs being so lagged. Wonder if they'll do anything to speed it up.

Saw a message on EMBs regarding ACE Options term 2. Anyone know what it is?

Term 1- LA & HCL.compulsory (total=10pts)
Term 2 - HCL compulsory + need to opt for 3 other subjects (total=20 pts)
Term 3 - LA & IDS (tink it stands for Inter Disciplinary Studies where e students will visit some historical places & do a writeup on it) compulsory + opt for 2 other subjects (total = 20pts)
Term 4 - no ace, only for external competitions (max 10pts)

Students hv to go online into e parents portal to submit their options for terms 3 & 4. Each ace subject max score is 5pts.

So is it in term 4 didn't get to go ext competition then can't get that 10 ace pt?[/quote]Ace is only fm T1 to T3 n u can chk e pts awarded thru e parents portal for e individual subject. The progress report will oso reflect e ttl ace pts per term fm T1to T3. There is no ace in T4, student will not loose out if they do not take part in ext comp as T1 to T3 ace already make up to a total of 50% (e max for ace). Hope this helps.
