Mine never got used to it. Both my no.3 & no.4!!!! Even though I had no problems with no.2. Just my life, I guess. Meant to have a hard life. So rushed back every 2 to 3 hours to feed.
My babies had trouble with the bottle too. They were introduced to it at around 2 months. But after awhile they managed to get used to it. What helped was that I was never around when they were fed from the bottles. Sometimes, babies can smell the real deal and will refuse to take the bottle!! -

I'm amazed by your devotion to your kids and to breastfeeding them. They don't know how lucky they are. Did you live near your office? I lived more than an hour away. Would not have been possible to travel back and forth! -

need some advice from mummies who r bf their toddlers...
am still bf my gal 25 mth old , n my 9mth boy....
bf my gal seems different about couple months back...
can feel her upper front teeth when feeding, and she tends to pull and also suck nearer nipple tip, until the areola constricts fr the discomfort,
unlike before, when the usual way, she used to cover almost whole areola and very comfortable, like now when my son is nursing..
any advice?
i love bf her, but it is reallt getting uncomfortable tt i had to reject her as she recently wanted to latch ALL night ....
help!

I weaned my 3 kids at 24mths, in fact, the eldest earlier at 15mth as I was preggy with 2nd and somehow, not much milk or milk taste different - she weaned herself off!hi,

Jmho, I would concentrate on feeding only the 9mth old. -

my gal is getting bm in, i can feel it and i'd like to continue until she self weans. The immunity will do her good... she has never fallen ill.
what i m concerned is what she is oing wrong, and why now when she has been good all along?? her teeth came out long ago how come now then i feell the discomfort? :? -

In any case, pecalis is mis-lead in so resolutely saying that there is no nutrients in breastmilk for a 25mth-old. That is so not true. Just ignore her on that.
I am still breastfeeding my 30month-old, by the way. -

But she is wants to latch the whole nite! What abt the younger child then? Sometimes, when kids behave out of their norm, they may be experiencing anxiety or feeling stressed by some changes. You may want to find out more... -
hi, i m a newbie here…
i breastfed both my boi n my gal…
my boi was on BM till he’s 18 months and refused to latch on…
as i’m a SAHM, i didn’t express any EBM…
so i gathered lots of FM samples and let him tried…
he refused every brands of FM…
in the end he only took Hays Dairies Goat Milk…
and till now he still take it…he’s 5yo now…
as for my gal, she’s 2.5yo now and still on BM…
with supplement of Hays Dairies goat milk…
thinking of weaning her off totally but seems like a tough job…
whenever she’s ‘free’ or out of a sudden, she’ll request to latch on…
any idea how can i stop this breastfeeding ?? -

initially her molars were coming in at the back, so i tot temporary problem, but now still like tat leh...
no other major events to explain leh... but now i m the concussed one... not sleeping well cos of this

she doesn't bite, but i can feel her upper teeth and its uncomfortable...
i bf both kids in tandem... one left n one rt
they're really sweet together n very loving
maybe i just hv to tahan til she self weans....
