24hr-mum:
just curious, does any of u parents stay in casa rosa? how is that project?
Have an acquaintance who lives there. As with older estates, the units are biggish.
Was also told that a number of MSH teachers live there and around, and that the sense of neighbourliness in the area is very high. -
bigfoot:
Anyone know what will be tested for next week's P1 CL unit test? The CL teacher sent me a document of what will be tested. Unfortunately, the words (in HYPY) looks like gibberish to me. Not sure if it is something wrong with the source or my PC. But I tested in a few PCs, still looks the same. So I suspect it is the source. Cannot wait for the CL teacher to reply our email. If you know, please post it here. Thanks in advance.
I did not receive any email from the teacher. Who is your son's CL teacher? -
SPIES:
She is the Senior Teacher, Mdm Ong. Whether the teacher email the parents is up to the teacher. It just so happen that Mdm Ong informed us what will be happening in CL and Art lesson through email.

DISAPPOINTING!!!
Received the 'revised menu'! Basically, they just removed the drinks and replace any snacks/biscuits with fruits. This is called the 'improved menu'!
The other day my son brought back apples and there are rotten parts!
Anyway, have already terminated the catering. -
Hi,
My son is currently in Primary 2.
I have been following the catered food discussion.
I personally think that the catered food is of reasonable standard base on $1.50 per meal. With all the inflation of food and labour, the price is fair. No caterer will be able to take up if there is nothing much to earn.
Every child has different taste, to suit everyone is impossible.
I am glad I took up catered food for my son. He does not need to queue during his short break for food. Also, he do not need to carry hot bowl of food and find a space to sit down. He learns to take a variety of food too. And he learns how to clean up after food.
This is just my point of view..:) -

Hi Hi ... I'm new in this forum. But would appreciate any feedbacks on MSHS. Considering b/w putting my son in Poi Cheng or MSHS. Anyone got any insights on the latest PSLE results of MSHS? :?
-
ya so far how is the school?
-
Top scorer for PSLE at MS was 267. Apparently they did well for the O levels coz the whole school had a celebratory holiday.
So far, the school is good. Nice teachers, nice classmates. Stress is manageable for the P1s. -
Found this on the web. What does MSHS parents think, ie whether its a fair assessment of where MSHS stands? The ranking basically puts MSHS in tier 1 alongside Ai Tong, Raffles, etc.
