      Hi,

My son is currently in Primary 2.

I have been following the catered food discussion.

I personally think that the catered food is of reasonable standard base on $1.50 per meal. With all the inflation of food and labour, the price is fair. No caterer will be able to take up if there is nothing much to earn.

Every child has different taste, to suit everyone is impossible.

I am glad I took up catered food for my son. He does not need to queue during his short break for food. Also, he do not need to carry hot bowl of food and find a space to sit down. He learns to take a variety of food too. And he learns how to clean up after food.

This is just my point of view..:)

I thought P2s are not allowed to go canteen as well? Either catered food or bring your own?

Hi Hi ... I'm new in this forum. But would appreciate any feedbacks on MSHS. Considering b/w putting my son in Poi Cheng or MSHS. Anyone got any insights on the latest PSLE results of MSHS? :?

Top scorer for PSLE at MS was 267. Apparently they did well for the O levels coz the whole school had a celebratory holiday.

So far, the school is good. Nice teachers, nice classmates. Stress is manageable for the P1s.

Found this on the web. What does MSHS parents think, ie whether its a fair assessment of where MSHS stands? The ranking basically puts MSHS in tier 1 alongside Ai Tong, Raffles, etc.

by the way does the sch allow kids to leave some bks in sch under their desk?do they hv lockers to keep bks in the classrm?

allowed to bring water bottle in? i heard for nanyang they must leave water bottle outside the classrm.

any ca or sa for p1 this year?

for sch bus, do they turn into the exact block or house to let the kids alight or they alight them at main road only?

Any P3 parents in this forum? Just wondering how did your kids fare in the recent CA. Not sure if the work has become much more difficult or if my kids is starting to lag behind 😞

The latest P1 听写my son got 90/100. 10 marks deducted because the HYPY "San" was written in capital S! I am quite mad, considering all the 听写 will be generated towards their CA1 marks. Should I complain?

Only the best 3 results will be taken. So having one 90/100 would not make a diff if he already has three full marks.

Also, if I am not wrong. There will be no more HYPY for ting xie after term 1. Only chinese character for ting xie.
