Think the school term starts on 4th Jan (Tue) next year for all primary and secondary schools, not just Juying Primary - supposed to be a replacement holiday coz 1 Jan (New Year's Day) falls on a Saturday. You may refer to the MOE website for the School Term 2011 schedule to confirm.

                Hi, Jiyou_2003

Sorry didn't see your post earlier.

For the one week break in March, students are usually not required to go back to school, unless they have remedial lessons specially requested by the teachers. Except maybe for Robotics, otherwise P2s usually don't have CCAs until P3 so no need to go back during the 1 week term break. Same goes for the June hols (unless the school changes the system).

If I remember correctly, all CAs start from P3. P2s only have SA1 and SA2 (again unless the sch change the system)..., coz for me, that was 2 years ago liao...

                Hope that helps...

recently heard from her that they need to choose a CCA?
but my neighbour’s kid (in p4) say not compulsory for primary one. any one had any idea about this?

                    From what I’ve gathered,

p1 & p2 Cca is optional, can opt out.
The children choose it themselves in class,
there’d no memo for parents to choose and fill in.
When the timing for the Cca is confirmed,
memo will be sent to parent for accknlowledgement.

In p3, there will be a cca open hse day where
upper primary kids set up booths to promote their Cca to the p3.
Then the p3 will have to submit their ‘official’ choice of Cca
                    to their form teacher.

                      Hi all,

Next wedesday, 9 mar, is the parent teacher meeting.
Do remember to proceed to the sch hall to meet the chinese teacher
after meeting the form teacher in classroom.

Last year, some of the parents didn't speak to the Chinese teachers
as the form teacher forgot to direct them to the hall. 😐

                        Hi all,

I stay at Blk 645, does anyone have any recommendation of a good student care centre in this area? Any comments for Little Professor ?

                        Thanks.
