        If I want to do that, might as well do everything by myself from scratch. Don't trust them to clean for me.

              Ya... I had an ex-colleague whose finger got poked by prawn shells (the head I think) while washing prawns, and had severe bacteria infection... She ended up having her finger a few mm shorter as the infection was very bad. So scary.

                Ya... I had an ex-colleague whose finger got poked by prawn shells (the head I think) while washing prawns, and had severe bacteria infection... She ended up having her finger a few mm shorter as the infection was very bad. So scary.

                Yeah, you telling me that! I am extremely careful whenever I handle seafood. Sometimes very scary to think of it, right?

                    If you ever get poked by prawns, crabs, fish etc, please immediately squeeze out your blood from the wound under a running tap. It helps to expel the bacteria from the blood stream. Then quickly put antiseptic cream and cover with plaster (we use 3M micropore tape).


                    Never ignore the wound.

                        oh, then i better get some gloves to use in future.. my hands are full of these 'battle' scars.. fish, prawns, crabs.. all been scratch, poked before..
