We don't know how long Phase 2A will stay but I feel that as long as the child has studied in a primary school, his/her children should be entitled to register in the school 30 years down the road. That is how a 'legacy' continues.


If you have ever studied in that school but lost report book/PSLE cert, can call MOE for a duplicate.

Talking about legacy, that is provided DS who studies in a boy's school has a son 30 year's later. If DS has daughter(s), the legacy cannot continue. Whahahahaha.... then maybe co-ed schools could be better legacy hor, both gender also can continue the legacy.

Yah...I studied at a girls school which is now very popular, but I don't have a daughter to pass on this legacy. Maybe if I can sell my report book...

Nvm la, we just make sure our sons marry a wife with legacy then both gender also covered. Hahaha... just kidding.

My son can help his school to continue with legacy as he's in a co-ed school. So he can register his kids there regardless of sex. That is a precious gift that money cannot buy...provided his future wife agrees and stay around this area.

anyways, I was reading in the forum, i can register for 2A2 at sch A and withdraw if phrase 2C looks good at Sch B?

I would secure a place under 2A2 first...but you have to take a risk by giving up your secured place under 2C at another school.
Although Singaporeans are given 2 balloting slips, I personally won't go for it as it's hard to tell.

It's ok, I understand that first time stress and worry of P1 registration.

Qifa did ask if I want to do PV for my 2nd gal. Wondering will it help? I read transfers is hard as well… don’t want to stress my 1st gal by shifting school as well…

Since the school asked if you can do PV for your younger child, can the school take in your older child so that both of the girls can be together ? Unless your older gal is already in upper primary, then it's pointless to transfer her at this late stage.
