It depends on what type of learner your child is. Some children can sit down to memorise, some hv to move their body, some must see pictures.
My elder boy belongs to the \"must see pictures\" while the P4 boy is the \"hv to move his body\". -

Oxygen dissolves in stagnant water by the transfer of oxygen across the air-water interface. The amount of oxygen in water depends on the water temperature, salinity, and pressure and is often expressed as a percentage (0% indicating no oxygen). In stagnant water, the upper layer of oxygen-rich water tends to stay at the surface, resulting in lower oxygen levels throughout the water column. If you put in a pump, it will create turbulence and the oxygen-rich water at the surface will be replaces by water containing less oxygen from the bottom of the tank. More oxygen exchange across the air-wafer interface will take place and eventually, you will have a tank of water that is overall richer in oxygen.
That's why your fish will swim towards the surface to \"breathe\" when they have insufficient oxygen at the lower part of the tank. But instead of buying pump, you can get more aquatic plants. Need to experiment but once you strike a balance, your fish/plants oxygen/carbon dioxide requirement will balance out and you have a self sustaining eco-system... -

The school holidays are coming and my dd’s teacher gave her some holiday hw. But my dd don’t know what is the maths revision test is about.
E3, does ur dd know? My dd’s teacher did not give her any math worksheets or activity book. -

I taught mine to form a (moving) picture in her head for each sentence, follow by memorising it by reciting aloud (including the punctuations). Once she can recite about 3 times correct consecutively, she will practice writing down the 生字. Then, w/o refering, she writes the sentences 3 times.
She usually does 2 sentences at a time. -

Normally, every week on Wednesday my dd has 默写
so on Thursday I let my dd read ALL the 默写 sentences 3 times.
On Friday, my dd memorise the ones she chose 3 times again when she is taking a bath.
On Saturday, she will write the 1st 默写.
On Sunday she will write the 2nd one.
On Monday she will write the 3rd one.
On Tuesday she will write all 3 together.
On Wednesday she will have her 默写 in school.
Then on Thursday she will read the next 默写 3 times and so on... -

I Play a Miming Game With Them, Giving them Clues Along The Way, and Getting them to Memorise it at Least 3x without Mistakes, Before Leaving them to Write Down on their Own.prisnkc:

Most of the Time This Mummy Ends Up Clowning Around to Act out the Words and Sounds-Like Action. Think my Kids Remember the 默写by Associating to their Mummy's Silly Antics.
At times, we put the words into song and try to sing it out ....
Other Times We Clap Along while chanting it ....
And When Both of us R Sleepy, Both of Us Will March Around, Shouting the Words Out ....
Sometimes We even Translate the Chinese into English to Something that Becomes \"No-Three-No-Four\", and Laugh ourselves Silly ....
Generally, Have Fun ....
And It Won't Be Such A Chore ....
