Mmmm, sounds yumz.
I just made cheese bread 2 nites ago. Instead of water, I add 2/3 milk and 1 cup of shredded cheese - depending on whatever I have in the fridge. But I find a nice cheese combi is the shredded cheddar and mozarella cheese.
Do u do anything special or different to the recipe provided by z?

Sounds yummy! I don't do anything different to the Z recipe except add more water! Milk sounds like a good substitute.jtoh:

bread making experts... i wanted to try the cheese bread too.. but are you using oven to bake the bread or bread machine? if i use bread machine can i aslo bake the cheese bread ? when should i add in the cheese?? thanksksks.. for your advise
I use the Z bread machine. There is a cheese bread recipe provided which calls for 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup cheese. Personally, I think there's an error to the amount of liquid recommended. The bread does not rise very much if it's 1/2 cup water. I would suggest using 2/3 water or milk and add more cheese (1 cup).
U can add the cheese after u hear the beep function - midway thru the kneadin stage

Ya... give milk a try. In the past, I experimented with 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup milk. But was not very satisfied with the taste and texture. After trying 2/3 cup milk, my family and I like how the bread turns out. Somehow I find that it gives a nice texture to the bread and brings out the cheese flavour. Then again, I also increase the amt of cheese from 1/4 cup to 1 cup.
Sounds yummy! I don't do anything different to the Z recipe except add more water! Milk sounds like a good substitute.
As I usually bake my breads in the evenings and consume them for bfast the next morning, I don't worry too much about the bread getting spoiled.

Thanks schweppes. So you use 1 cup milk and 1 cup cheese? Not 2/3 milk?
