      Funz:
I used rice flour as well since I did not have glutinous rice flour. Had to use quite a lot to thicken the almond milk and ended up with a bit of flour taste. Was told to use glutinouse rice flour as it thickens better so no need to use too much and thus will not affect the taste of whatever you are making.

      oic......ok, thks.

            qms:

Err...I ordered it through my father's friend in China. They will be coming to Singapore soon.

Don't know how much leh. :scratchhead:

oic. i thot u placed order online as i ever saw it avail online.

Yah you can get it online but I think the price is higher, saw that it was like $200. I got my friend to cart it back for me from China as well and if I remember correctly, it is only slightly above $100. Only problem is I have to use a universal adapter in order to plug it into our switch.

Btw, there is a soya milk maker thread where you will be able to find more info on other brands as well.

I love Basil pesto as my base sauce for pasta.

Today, I decided to make that for dinner.

I took basil leaves and olive oil and blended them together. You can add minced garlic if you want to while blending.

Then I whisked in ground walnuts (I did not have pine nuts), salt and parmesan cheese into the blended mixture.

I boiled some frozen vegetables and pasta, pan fried small pieces of white fish and added them into the sauce.

Everyone loved it, including my DS - his first time having pasta with this pesto base.

                  Here is the pix:

Really didn't take much time to blend. I fact I did it about 2 days ago and refrigerated it.
