Whoa!! Her schedule was VERY VERY VERY GOOD!!lizhi:
In this one week break, i dont allow my dd to play games. Before P1, her whole time was playing games, like Maplestory, Plants vs. Zombies, Battle City etc, finally her eyesight was not very good. From now on, i will restrict my dd to play games, she may read books, or somtimes to view video, like SHINee's, Matilda...
Lizhi, good of you to restrict. Dd uses the computer to check mails, work on the SpellingCity and the Science Cards for the google docs which FT assigned. She only played games on the iphone or ipad.
Dd wanted to enjoy our trip so she completed most of her homework last Thursday after the Leadership Training Course. Although she reached home late, she stayed focused and completed main bulk of it. She finished her ๅจ่ฎฐ this afternoon with pictures from the trip.
After the trip, she suddenly felt \"lost\" and was asking for work to do!! I told her to do whatever she enjoys...and she started playing her favourite pieces on the piano, played with the guinea pigs, read and did Math and Science challenging questions! Haha...
Tomorrow she'll be going to a classmate's place to play. It's also her Bday so it's no work day.
I have planned her timetable for next term and we'll only start our engines next week.

Today my dd spent the whole afternoon reading a VERY VERY THICK book which was borrowed from the library 10-12 yo section.
Anyway, Happy Birthday to your dd!! I feel that it is great to have birthdays during school holidays. I wish she will have a great time tommorow!! :celebrate: -

My P4 boy is with Hua Cheng @L2. There is a diagnostics test to take before the centre decides to put the child in Normal Chinese or Higher Chinese class.
Hi Jennifer,GyGy:

This centre is Jing Cai, stuck in an extreme corner of L2 facing the escalator. Only my elder boy is enrolled. My P4 boy is still with the Bt Timah Plaza centre.
The tutor in charge of my elder boy is a no nonsense type, dun think she is suitable for my P4 boy who is still very playful.
You mentioned your P4 boy still with a chinese centre at Bt Timah Plaza, May I know which centre issit? issit good? What is the charges like?
Thank for answering my qn.
My P4 boy has improved in his paper 2 whereas his other friend (in PH too) has not seen much improvement in the recent CA1. A review of the CA1 paper 2 revealed that he lost many marks due to carelessness as the tutor has covered those. The boy's mum claimed that they revised the tuition material and the vocabulary book (SAP shouze) regularly. I think she is more hardworking than me, maybe her teaching style at home does not suit the child.
There is a new centre \"Xue Lin\" @L2. We attended its Dec hols creative writing programme last year.
I cant comment much between the 2 centres as they operate on a very diff basis. It's really an issue of which matches the learning style of a child.
How is their fee likes? What did they cover? I'm look at either a 1-1 tuition or an enrichment centre at Bukit Timah Plaza if better... There is a 1-1 tuition quoted me $40per hour, I find it rather steep... Is that the norm rate for 1-1 chinese tuition? -

But you all didn't consider E3's dd1 marks. Hers will be MANY marks difference from the next lower one. Ok better siam now before I kenna scolding :siam: .
That case a bit unique
Thank you php for helping me to explain this clearly.S6169:

she is assuming that there is 2 students having the same mark in a class of 40 students...so it will end up 20 sets of mark...again assuming that every set of mark is 1 mark difference, therefore the diff betw highest and lowest will be 20 marks....
It is my personal conclusion from last year p3 Top 10 students marks and several other classes top 3 students marks. It may not correct for others.
Usually it is 1 marks diff per position for lower primary -

How much did you pay for the private tutor?
