Hi Lizeglen,
LSP is a support programme. It can be long term or short term. It is NOT for the weaker pupils. Weaker pupils just go straight to LA classes. ( high ability/ mixed ability/ low ability class). No point knowing how the assessment tools work n get yourself stressed up.
Please do not stress your child. sometimes kid try to live up to parents’ expectations and suffer quietly. Very poor thing.
Notice a lot of parents are discussing abt bullying in school. This is serious. There is a pupil welfare dept in the school. Tell them your problem. It’s faster. Alternatively , u can talk to the P or VP, esp if your kid is in p1. They are very vulnerable. -
Sorry a bit off topic....
I'm new in here. My son is in 1B. Any parents from 1B too?
My son came back today with Maths homework - Topical Practice. But he insisted that he need to complete pages 39-44. The problem is, page 33 starts with question twelve of topic six and page 44 is the first four questions of topic seven :?
I suspect he may have misheard the teacher. Checked his student handbook, but there's no entry for today. Can any parents confirm this please

Hi parents from P1 class, need your help :?:
I am looking at the schedule & topics of the bite-sized mastery tests and is wondering where are all those topics (ie, English unit 1-6, hanyu pinyin 8 or 10, maths subtopics A-D) found?
Any tips of how I can prep my child? -

Dd has not been made to stay behind before but i am all in agreement for her to bear the consequences if she does not hand in her homework. Honestly with so many restriction to protect the students nowadays, I feel teachers are not left with much choices on how to punish the students.hi parents,

It happens; and it has happened to my children. Personally, Iwouldn’t jump on the issue too much. I would normally check with my children when the worksheet was given out, and when they are due to the teacher. If the fault lies with children, they deserve it.
However, if you feel strongly about it, I would suggest you find out more from the teacher or raise your concern with her before bringing it up to the principal. -

Ds' whole class always kena punished by their form teacher to stay back awhile during recess. Duration depends on how long they take to settle down for his class in the beginning. By the time, they reach canteen, the Q at some stalls r too long so they have to buy from the less popular stalls. :roll:hi parents,

If ur DS has a gastric problem or rely on recess for a heavy meal, then it's best to let the teacher know not to cancel his recess. Otherwise, I guess it's ok to skip once a while since it's a light punishment. -
