      Hi Champion,

You may want to consider these other titles. Personally, I prefer Cai Yun Fei, Huang Hai Jun and Wei Yuan (Victoria). First 2 authors are from EPH.
The impt sections are hanyu pinyin (choosing the correct option), duan wen tian kong, wan cheng dui hua, bian zi ce yan, wan cheng ju zi and of course OE comprehension.

      Hi janet_lee88,
Is hanyu pinyin (choosing the correct option), wan cheng dui hua, wan cheng ju zi part of 'PSLE' format? The above are not in my child's school exam format since last year, so I tend to choose books that does not emphasize these sections. Another one is the 'matching' of phrases (eg 'yao bai' match to 'sheng ti' etc). Are these important?
      Many thanks.

        Hi Janet,
Thanks for your advice again - I have the 1st one - bought from IMM Popular last week when the other time you recommended to use πŸ˜„

Heee...another good \"excuse\" to go Popular again - I will go comb thru books by above authors before deciding whether to buy  Guess DD1 has enough at the moments πŸ˜‰

How about Chinese assessment books that have practice for sentence reconstruction 词ε₯ι‡η»„οΌŸ

My dd’s sentence is totally 不鑺

But strangely, the HCL assessment book I bought does not even have this section. That’s why I thought P3 no longer testing 词ε₯重组… but I saw this in her test recently

Get the ε† ε†›ηŽ‹ for HCL. I got it for my dd last yr P2, and I personally think it is v good (cos' she improved from 80+ for practice tests to 90+ for SA2, she didn't go for chinese tuition...), so I bought it again for her in P3. It does have 词ε₯重组.

Agree. ε† ε†›ηŽ‹ is good. I bought it for my P1 gal.

WOW! Seems like ε† ε†›ηŽ‹ is the most recommended Chinese Assessment Book! Guess I will get the 3B book after SA1 or else will be too many for DD to work on lioa πŸ˜‰

It's too easy in my opinion and not worth the time doing.
