I think ksi uses olive oil instead of butter.

Not necessary to melt butter. I usually cut the lump of butter into 4 pieces and spread ‘dump’ them in.

Schweppes mentioned that you can get those scs brand butter that comes in small pkts, and use one which is equivalent to the amt you need to add in the bread mixture.

I don’t melt my butter too. Just cut the correct amount and dump into the machine according to the sequence.

Don’t melt your butter. It should be soft. I sometimes forget to take my butter out of the fridge early and it’s still hard but it’s okay. Just cut the butter into smaller pieces and place it all around the pan.

I don't even cut my butter. Just use the spoon that came with the Z machine to scoop out the butter direct from the fridge.. but the bad thing about this way is... my butter looks \"deformed\". 😉 😉

No one will know if your butter was deformed once it's baked.

I think she meant the butter that is left in the tub, not the butter that has been scooped into the breadmachine.

Hehe!... I was refering to the balance butter as it will not look presentable when kept in the fridge.. but then again, who will know... probably my maid and I only. 😉

Ahh... now I know what I should do with the butter.. Many thanks to all breadmaking shifu here... 😉 Maybe I will buy the individual small package butter (but one pack will be equivalent with how many tablespoon? :? ) or just try with olive oil...

One of those small packet is 10g of butter and that is about 1tbsp, which is about the norm for use in a loaf of bread.

I like my bread more buttery, so I alway scoop 1 heaped tablespoon of butter, so if for me, the 1 small packet may be lesser than what I normally use.
