        Hello every1,

        I'm a mummy of two boys (3yr & 1yr).
Not extremely active in posting and reading posts but very grateful that this forum is avail 😄

My first post was about my younger boy's health and I have received many valuable replies.

Sharing and learning about other's experiences keep me sane! So thanks!

hi all multitasking mummy… being a FTWM, we multitask a lot… i always tell my hubby… unlikely FTWM can get dementia… as our brain is active all the time… haaa…

do u all manage to cook at home or at least get maid to cook? or eat out? how often do u shop for food/groceries? i have to squeeze in some time during weekends/weekday lunch time to get all the stuff for home cooked food. find it quite tiring at times… if missed the time, will end up nothing much in fridge for cooking… it’s like weekly thing that i have to think of what to buy for dinner at home how u gals manage. with efficient ?

              Hi Hi!

How about getting your hubby to do all the grocery shopping twice a week?

For me, my maid cooks dinner during weekdays and week-ends we usually tar-pau or eat out.

My husband does all the grocery shopping twice a week. On Sunday mornings he will go to the NTUC with a list of things to buy and pick up the bulk of the groceries needed for the week. On Wednesday evenings he will do light shopping to replenish stuff like vegetables and bread.

For me, I don't do any shopping at all except on the odd occasion pick up bread and breakfast items. But for weekend tar-pau, I am in-charge of supplying the food!

Another suggestion is why not use those on-line shopping available at Cold Storage (not sure about NTUC) or Carrefour? I understand they will do delivery as well hence can cut down on your time.

              :celebrate:

I have been at home for 3 days since I have new maid so I am training her.. its very boring to be at home so guess i love being FTWM 😛

I am on MC this week and LOVE being a paid FTWM but staying at home! 😉 wah..ha...ha...

But really I was in touch with my office every other day since this is the peak period for us accountants but I got to stay at home due to the bo-pian-cy of chicken-pox at my age. Wah...lau... 😛

I am a happy FTWM as I enjoy getting my pay check and my work!

very difficult to hope for my hubby, he will wait for me to tell him wat is needed, sometimes hard to say must see then will know. only occasionally i give him a list and he buy bac.

online is much expensive le and the range is not that wide .. maybe i can try online once a while.. safe my time and energy

best thing abt being a FTWM … we are financially independent… can buy anything we want… and hubby cannot intervene much… cos we spent our money… i love being a FTWM.
