in certain Primary schools that has affliation to good Secondary schools with high COP (cut off point), if a child is weak, parents can receive stressful calls from the school to buck up.

Ya, I was checking out a Maths Enrichment yesterday and the guy said, your kid is only with us for 2 hours a week hence as parents we should revise the worksheets/books which are brought home and that's when the course will be more successful

I guess that's why those primary schools will stress the parents.. šŸ˜“

            hello Kissgurami,

your DD1 will pave the way ahead for your DD2. So 2013 should be less stressful for you. šŸ™‚

Not really.. Hiaz I have been having mixed thoughts. Sch A is within 1-2km but not my choice of sch. Sch B is P2C but tendency for balloting since I am more than 2KM (but it is actually so much nearer to my place.)

So finally after major discussion, I will attempt balloting at P2C at Sch B , if ballot is successful, then total relief but if not, I will go to Sch A for P2CSupp.

Already submitted application for PV for DD2 for Sch B, pending for interview.

I registered daughter in my former school with affiliation to sec...now praying šŸ™ very hard the COP doesn't increase too much (better still if don't increase šŸ˜› ) when she reaches P6.
IJ St Nicholas has affiliation but has high COP, same goes for SJI(J) from what I just heard.

                      Hi Kissgurami

Just wonder, how come u do not want to try Rulang for the PV and choose sch B, I believe Rulang more nearer (within 2km), right? Although may not guaranteed a place for the PV.

                      Thanks

gsk[/quote]Rulang is not within 2km šŸ˜ž , Nanhua is actually nearer but at 4.11km and 2 mins drive from my office. I wasn't expecting to move to Jurong and didn't realise PV for Nan Hua closes so early..
