For ds's music training, I've already let go of lots of $$$$$. I got him a custom-made german piano (with his name engraved on it) and had to wait for 7 mths for it to be delivered. The inside of the piano is green in colour (my fav colour), cool rite?

IJJ , perhaps you can join the home-school kids when in a different environment....or this perhaps means why parents also educators themselves decide to take the destiny of education into their bare hands. For me, these parents are bravo , especially when their kids do generate good / satisfactory results :love:Thanks, Mrsbongz & Funx3!
Sometimes, I cannot help but to feel that there are so many educators out there whom we have to entrust our little ones into their care to impart tools and knowledge, yet not only they are not doing enough, instead they attempt to kill the zealous kids' enthusiasm in learning. Tsk tsk tsk...
:x
Thankfully, thankfully, the passionate ones outnumbered these, or rather, mine is very blessed to have mostly great ones who are dedicated to nurture such hungry minds. -

Me too, I kudo those home-school parents cum teachers. They must have a lot of discipline to do that. I do not think I am equiped with the calibre to handle such tasks....I will start tearing my hair. Maybe, I will have to home-school CL when we move, not everything. Teaching own kids is really a test to one's patience.
 I am lack of that for sure.

So bad har. From the recent posts from various parents, no doubt Mr HOD is also Mr Unpopular here.
Qn. How to ensure that my ds is not taught by him eventually? Or must I use money to solve problem again by sending ds to all those Sci tuition classes?Mum1113:
Half a bomb only lah, I asked dw to pay for the other half, hehe.almost fall off chair....costs a bomb yaa ...

Just for sharing :
Curious why the typical results slip which shows subjects results by level/by class still not out yet, when we already in Term 2 week 2.
Called up GO earlier, and response given was ...\" maybe dont' have this time, still having discussion whether to give or not, if don't give, then have to wait for SA1 results are out...or look out for circular letter informing parents on this matter...\"
Thought it was always a good gauge and good piece of info.
they will release and share it , as in past years. -

You also suffer from impatience? Me too, especially when I spot carelessness. Then when my voice starts to rise, ds will tell me calmly, 'Can you don't get angry and tell me slowly what do you mean?'
The calmness of his voice is really therapeutic. Then from :stupid: I'll quickly changed to  . DS's 'kong tao' very powerful. -

Breed more, then it will not be a bomb at all.

I remember you got a dunno dunno how much big dollar note framed up on your wall. So maybe, the custom-made piano is nothing to you. I had a 2nd hand piano and before our move, I told hubby that all the children must learn playing piano, and that will be the only thing we can afford.
