Feel free to adapt the time-table to suit ur family & needs. Do get ur DS' inputs to let him feel involved. Best of luck!

U would hv to hv the final say but u can give him choices or let him decide on non-essentials like the cartoons to watch (not just on e tv & watch whatever is there); sequence of activities (bathe, play or read 1st?) etc. When he is involved, he will b more committed.

Selective TV watching will make him values the precious tv time more & allows u to motivate him to meet the start time by completing previous activities (look at how kan cheong my DS2 is after sch! ) or even withdraw it as a punishment.

9.45am: Homework/Revision or play/read if v free/Piano lesson on Mon.
11am : Lunch & bathe
11.45am: Goes to sch
7pm: Dinner & bath
8pm: Play w brother/ Help to fold clothes / Do homework only if the load is too much for tomorrow./ Wushu on Fri.
9pm: zz
No tv on weekdays, as it seems to make him hyper. -
Been having a timetable since my child is born. Timetable changes every few months as when older need less sleepβ¦
Right now the timetable is scheduled on what time to eat meals, what time to sleep. But not strictly followed as sometime if child is hungry will feed earlier.
