If the guidebk is SEAB 'approved', it's quite safe to stick to the prescribed answers.


For things like past yr papers and generic revision activity bks, if in doubt abt answers, better to ask the school teachers as sometimes these answer keys may not be correct.

Thank you, Nebbermind, for your advice. I will write to the science teacher, but sometimes, teachers take a long time to reply.... and you know how a child, waiting for an answer, can lose heart in the process of waiting.

One more question, but what is SEAB 'approved'? I'm new on the scene, and sometimes, don't get the abbreviations.

They have a list of publishers for the compilation of psle past yr papers…believe the answers given shd be vetted by SEAB.

there’s also an orange coloured science revision book which I think most schools used in 2010. no sure but think it’s also so-called seab approved

Thank you, Nebbermind, for all your help. I will google for the list of publishers authorised by SEAB. The guide book I have is orange, and is published by Marshall Cavendish. I was impressed by their presentation… also, they published my daughter’s science textbooks used by her school. That should be okay, I guess?

Good Morning.

In primary science, students learned that magnetic force can pass through thin sheets of non magnetic materials such as paper, glass or wood.

However if the magnetic force is too weak or the material is too thick, magnetic force may not be able to pass through.
