oh, would you mind sharing what she said? coz i have heard where kids who are late bloomers doing well in top schools since they are influenced by their peers so just wondering your relative's view

as per wat u say.. the kids do compare with each other their results n really strive to be the top scorers.. i can't remember wat my relative said exactly as tat was like last yr.. but becoz i know my DS can't take tis kind of stress... not tat i m protecting him.. but he does get nightmares n can't get gd slp when he first started to have spelling during his K1 days.. so to me as long as he studies hard, get gd grades it is more den sufficient den getting into a top sch..

You know your child best, and your decision was made out of your love for your child. So who's to say you didn't make the right decision?
You defy the norm, and put your child in a less popular school which you feel to be a better fit for your child. There's absolutely nothing weird about that.
In fact, I :salute: you for that! -

Thanks BigDevil... I guess that's wat all parents here do for their kids as well.. All of us always wants the best for our kids isnt it?celtricia:

BigDevil:
As parents, we do what is in the best interest for our kids. Child's character will help us decide if he/she can fit into certain schools. In deciding to register your child in a less popular school, it may even be a blessing in disguise. I salute your decision in thinking of your child FIRST.celtricia:

Checking the immunisations online records, seems like it isnβt updatedβ¦
Is it important and will the Health Booklet suffice when registering?
thanks -
Kissgurami:
Purpose of health booklet is to ensure that all the immunisations done. if online records are not updated, then you should only bring the health booklet. Staff will verify and photocopy (I think). When in P1, they will have to produce that in school again as there is another round in P1 (this is done in school unless parents want to have it done by their own doctors).Checking the immunisations online records, seems like it isn't updated..
