I like that they don’t pinpoint to the entire SG population and wider. Kill chicken to warn monkey ok, but that fella is still young, give him a break.

I can’t imagine what kind of stress he will kena if every stranger (I’m sure his neighbours can recognise the maid and the nsman) points at him.

And yes, certainly that episode had given me fodder for thought. Since then, DS has had to carry their own schoolbags.

For school bags, I will help DS with his bag till P3, after P4 he grows up and start training, LOL. DD a bit different, you cannot expect to see a man walk empty handed while his little daughter carry a heavy sch bag, right ? Likewise, my DS does not expect mum to carry for him also, so malu when his frens see it

Wah, I quite like this comment, daughters get different treatment from daddies!

The same can't be said for sons & mummies.... 😞

In this case, might it not be more appropriate to say: \"Be a NSman! Do the light thing!\".

This NS guy sway sway got photographed. Maybe his maid became a celebrity too. Daughters are diff from sons. That is a fact. Which parent won’t get heartache to see their daughter carrying own bag? Sure to take over right?

The issue here is not that the maid is carrying the fullpack for him...it is that a strong young man not feeling embarrassed that a smaller female person is carrying it for him.

vlim, my sentiments exactly :celebrate: :celebrate:
