My DS was being checky with his sis and coughed infront of her.

My DD’s reaction: Do you think I’m a tissue paper?

      DS: silence looking on

      DD: I’m NOT

When my eldest was in preschool and learning to spell, he learnt to spell mummy first.

One morning, while waiting for dh get ready for work, we played at spelling.

Me: So how do you spell mummy?
            DS: M-U-M-M-Y
Me: Good boy! Do you think you can spell daddy?
            DS: D...?
            Me (encouragingly): Yes...
DS (with confidence and flourish): D-U-M-M-Y!

BB was getting cranky, so I asked DD to play with her while I finished up some housework.

BB was getting excited when her big sis played with her and started to move her arms about and accidentally slapped or scratched DD. Instead of complaining like what she does when DS disturbed her, she said, looked how much bb loves me.

Went out to have lunch with ds2 who is 3. I told him I'm not hungry so dun want to eat anything.

Smurf: I dun want to eat lah, quite full.
Ds2: no, cannot. You must eat more rice then you can grow up big big, etc (sounds familiar??).
smurf: erm, I already very 'big', no need to grow anymore. 😐
