My ds is very keen to go. I think he likes the idea of being with his friends for a few days. Any parents whose kids have gone before when they were in P4? The form mentioned airfare, does it mean they fly there? How? Go to JB to take the flight? I don't think there is direct flight from SG.
Heard if too many students interested in going, the T i/c will also interview some kids why they should be given the chance to go. Btw, mine also mentioned same reason as yoursS6169:
According to my ds, it is only for twk9-5, and they will choose 10 kids from each class. That's why kids must write a personal statement and give reasons why you should be selected, etc.
my ds said he don't want to go cos been there before.

But Team Dis-Qualify coz of Improper Attire, Not Different Uniform ....
What if they must wear long pants for religious reason? Muslims must wear long pants right?
Did the rules and regulations state that all team members attire must be uniform?ruaqt2:

Heard from some P5 kids that last year they've the choice to go either Malacca (May) or China (June). But this year, 've not heard any news on the China trip yet. Don't know whether still the same.

Record down his presentation (Phone with good speakers will do and it's portible, so can practise everywhere he goes), let him listen to his own voice and tone. Have a good laugh, then improvise.
Wah :!: .... sound easy but so worry my ds in the end will talk until out of topic....... :stupid:Suee:

When my son had Show and Tell in P1/2 then, he had to choose a subject from a list of items given. Then based on that, I will discuss with him about it...for eg colour, shape, material, usage. Have intro, body and conclusion. Then make it lively when presenting it.
Project his voice and be confident.
Last year, FT gave a guide on Intro, Body and Conclusion. Choose an item to present, give a brief intro, then give about 3 pointers at the body, provide egs. etc and summarise at the conclusion.
P3 dont have 'show and tell', right? -

Yes, Pri 3 no \"Show and Tell\" but this year it will be \"Story-Telling\" instead.

Lizhi, remember the two story maps and write-ups assigned by the TT? Those are for the Oral re-telling. They are supposed to re-tell \"Fearless Phil\" or \"A Kitten for the King\", with actions and WITHOUT script. Mr Chua will be selecting some kids to re-tell (with scripts allowed) next week.lizhi:

Maybe some other teams complained after the race was over. You know, this is quite common in horse racing. It must have been a shock for the girls. Imagine in their PSLE year and they still bother to represent and try to earn glory for the school.
Feel sad for the girls ....
Ya... so unfair
The stand-in coach should be :spank:
