haha, what about online exercises the kids have to do at home?
for chinese, he can do it many times (doesnt reflect the no. of tries one has) to achieve the shortest time. at first, we didnt know, thought only has one try but hey, his friends (top 10) were like finishing the whole thing in less than 1 minute.
now we know how it works, ds has been banging on his keyboard to get to top 10. good for him (learning) but pity the keyboard. -
LOLMum:

Don’t know if it’s a common boys’ problem. My son is careless too. Copy wrong words even when the words are right in front!
I can’t stand him cos Mum here when small is super careful. My son is also slow in everything, except eating titbits and watching TV. He doesn’t strive to be fast. In contra, I think he strive to finish last in class. Really buah tahan.
LOLMum,
Some schools have online work/revision since P1. I saw that for Chinese. -

Then copy answer for comprehension passage also can leave key words or else leave out one or 2 alphabets.Don't know if it's a common boys' problem. My son is careless too. carelessness - huh, when it comes to buying that particular toy they want, many letters in a single word can also spell correctly and even describe in details how the toy works and look like.
why cant be more observant in their school work? deserves :spank: -
Dear Parents,
I’m keen to apply PV at RGPS. I called the school this morning with regards with their PV recruitment for children born in 2007. The admin lady told me it has not started and asked me check on the school website for status.
I would like to know how many years ahead before P1 registration can I start volunteering at RGPS. How’s the selection criteria and is it difficult to get chosen?
Thanks for your advise. -
Mangai:
You may want to find the school that you want to PV when your child is 4yo and start PV when he/she is 5yo (2nd Semester) then register when he/she is 6yo (2nd Semester). Hope it helps.Dear Parents,

My husband tried to PV at the school 2 yrs ago and the admin told us they do not take in any PV. Not sure was it because we were late to show interest and the recruitment was already closed? My girl is due for registering P1 this year and I'm already feeling the stress. We stay within 1km of RGPS and hoping she will be able to get in and walk to school for the next 6 years. Then came Wed report that they will be shifting. So sad.
Mummies, can you all pls advise me if both parents need to be present during the P1 registration? My husband was posted overseas, so do I need to get him to come back? Thks.
