I didn't get any compo writing book for daughter yet. For my son in P5, I bought Quick Reference to Creative Writing (P5/6) and Creative Writing by Leo Kee Chye...both by Success Publications.

      Hi cwc,
I am a compulsive buyer when I see good quality assessment books.

      Hi Janet,
Can you recommend a good/userfriendly phrases book for CL compo?
      Thanks.

I get this title for 好词好句 ‘The Essential Chinese Composition Guidebook for Primary Students'...by Victoria Publications.[/quote]:thankyou:

        Hi Mummies,

If you want to get the 4 for $10 books, do call b4 going down…reserve the books first. If not bcos I have P5 Grammar & Vocab, I would get that bundle set.

Closing down ? Serious ? OMG  that is so surprising.
Mummies, if you want to get the Grammar guide by Teachers' Production (Upper and Lower primary), better do so asap.

I saw the offer at United Sq Popular with only the Grammer & Vocab books, couldn't find the Chinese and Maths one. It seemed to be a great deal not to be missed and I thought 😐 hard for quite a while before I decided against buying as my DS may not have the time to do them... I have many 'white elephants' at home alredi

I bought P2 Grammar, Vocab, Maths, P3 Grammar, Vocab, Maths and P6 Grammar & Vocab...2 sets for $20. Didn't get the Chinese as it's not very current.

                  Hi Janet & teh_oh,
I run thru DD1 Compo write-out - although CL teacher's comment is that she writes fluently and content is sufficient but somehow she only manage to get 15/20 for the 4 Compos that since Term 1. Hope to brush up her grammar and vocabulary so grab the following 2 books this late afternoon and hope she can pick up some skills to gain more marks in the coming SA1 Paper 1.

                    Hi Champion,

You are becoming a pro uploading pictures of books…thanks for doing so. It’s really easier for parents to search for the book in Popular knowing what it looks like.

小学生作文好帮手:好词好句 this one is useful and I try to pick out some easier ones for son to remember and hopefully use them.

                      Hi Janet,

Thanks for the compliment - I also pick up the tips from you and so once I get the title I will try to upload here to share with all parents.

There are really too many assessment books, guide books - even many different publishers out in the market. So since we can have this platform to share the infos, I am glad to do by uploading the pictures :celebrate: .
