I personally prefer they have shuttle buses between NYPS and CIS, both in the morning and afternoon. How about afterschool care, enrichment and CCAs? Some P2s already in school teams. The students still have to come back to the main campus rite? I hope the Sch considers all these carefully. I think I would email the P later today about this.
please keep us updated on the response. :celebrate: -

Hopefully I'll get some response!![/quote]i think the area of concern will the choice of CIS. is there any other alternative for consideration? if there are, perhaps we can explore each plan a little further.
if the only choice is CIS, then the consideration will be logistical issues. how best to hep the parents get their kids to school. what will be the best option that is workable for all parties (parents, children, school). its no small task as i believe one will never be able to satisfy everyone.
i guess the main gist of the consideration has to be transportation from NYPS to CIS in the morning and CIS back to NYPS at the end. NYPS has to be the official drop off / pick-up location, although i realize that some parents would rather drop off / pick-up at CIS. but remembering that these children are P1/P2, they really need to learn how to get home nd to give them confidence. imagine the chaos at dismissal when some children will be picked up at CIS whereas others will be picked up at NYPS. it will be so much simpler for teachers if all drop-off/pick-ups are to be done at NYPS. teachers will assemble with the children at NYPS do a roll-call in NYPS then take shuttle to CIS for classes. at the end of day, teacher will do roll-call again and take shuttle back to NYPS for dismissal. no drop-off/pick-up at CIS. that's my 2cents. -
