Which Pre-Paid Mobilephone Card \ Top up card is better?
-
Intend to get one. Can someone help by recommending which top-up card (or it’s called the Hi Card instead?) is good and worth the money? I would prefer one with free in/out going calls and sms locally and that it allows us to top up when there is not enough value or value running low, also, one which will not expire so fast.
Checked out the Singtel’s selling at 7-Eleven. In coming call is free for the first 10 days (but forgotten it it’s locally) and 75 free sms from other countries, not local. $10/card with the value of $18.
I was told there is one card allows you to use it for till 6 months but do not know why it expired with a month or two, even without using it or only used for less than 3 times?
Anyone using these type of cards can share the differences and which company’s good and value for money? Preferences as abv, first paragraph.
TIA. -
Did the Mod amended the Title? Oh yes, this is much clearer indeed. :thankyou:

So, anyone of you here or your children using the card? Need some feedback. TIA.

Finally, one respond! Thank you so much!
Btw, any free local incoming call and sms for this card? Is the card available at any stores? TIA. -
Another question.
Just checked out the Singtel's website and am blur. May I know what is the difference between a mobile top up and a payphone top up?
Would also like to know among the so many types, which type and from which service providers is the best?
TIA. -
I buy Hi-card for my DD. It’s good for a very light user not worth if u r a heavy user. Never tried other card yet. From what I know, you pay $8 n get $10Worth. When u top up $10 u get 10 days of free incoming call n top up $20 to get 20 days of free incoming call. After 5 global sms u get 75 free global sms that valid for that day only. The card will expired after every 6 mths, so u hv to top up the card before expiry date.

If I’m not wrong, payphone top-up is for international calling card like ‘1 world card’ this card come with pin no. U can make an international call with this card with cheaper rate than if u use ur HP.

ppnqq: prepaid card is almost the same for all 3 telco. As most people prefers the free incoming call service, they do provide free incoming for their line holders. however, when you buy the number (pre-paid card), you need to activate the free incoming at a daily rate of about $0.50. 2ndly, i notice starhub has free sms if you send like 5-10 sms a day… can’t remb how many… den if you top up from atm machines there will b additional sms free…
Oh btw, you may wana look for those Hot 130 or 128 cards… the price is like you top up $20 but you have $128 value added in the card… More worth the $$…
hope this is useful to u…
