My son used to use the singtel prepaid card. Can top up online, pay $8 and get $10 value.

              Another question.

Just checked out the Singtel's website and am blur. May I know what is the difference between a mobile top up and a payphone top up?

Would also like to know among the so many types, which type and from which service providers is the best?

              TIA.

I buy Hi-card for my DD. It’s good for a very light user not worth if u r a heavy user. Never tried other card yet. From what I know, you pay $8 n get $10Worth. When u top up $10 u get 10 days of free incoming call n top up $20 to get 20 days of free incoming call. After 5 global sms u get 75 free global sms that valid for that day only. The card will expired after every 6 mths, so u hv to top up the card before expiry date.

If I’m not wrong, payphone top-up is for international calling card like ‘1 world card’ this card come with pin no. U can make an international call with this card with cheaper rate than if u use ur HP.

ppnqq: prepaid card is almost the same for all 3 telco. As most people prefers the free incoming call service, they do provide free incoming for their line holders. however, when you buy the number (pre-paid card), you need to activate the free incoming at a daily rate of about $0.50. 2ndly, i notice starhub has free sms if you send like 5-10 sms a day… can’t remb how many… den if you top up from atm machines there will b additional sms free…

Oh btw, you may wana look for those Hot 130 or 128 cards… the price is like you top up $20 but you have $128 value added in the card… More worth the $$…

hope this is useful to u…

Hi , if your mobile line is singtel and if u dun use much , u can consider the the REDPAC for your DS , this line free incoming , outgoing call share with your plan , sms is 500 + 150 per month. Subscription is $8 + $5 (caller id).

                        Thanks for all the replies.

I understand that we have to top up just before the expiry day, say, before the month or the 6th month is up so as to be able to continue using the same number of that card? Then this could be a problem to me because this is just a spare card or a card for alternative purposes, hence I may not even get to use it for more than 3 times per month kind, so for my case, would it be a waste because i. I may not have the chance almost fully utilize the amount in the card and ii. Before I even have the chance to use half of the amount, I will need to top up in order to use the card again.

Any good suggestions or any particular card that is suitable? Thank you.
