Anyone just been to Hong Kong lately? How's the weather like? Wonder if I need to prepare warm clothings for travel in a week's time.

hk now is springtime. have occasional showers, but not like singapore almost every afternoon got rainstorm.
temp is warm, evening time night time like around 18+ degree usually, daytime can reach 27+ degree, sometime 30 degree on a good sunny day. its not deadly hot, so its nice.
just prepare a cardigan/ light jacket with your summer clothes will do. long pants/ mid length pants no problem too.
        enjoy~

i tot news said minimum radiation detected in HK air.. still want to go ? i cancel my plan le..stay put in south..

just planning, just planning. by end july shd be ok bah :?
πŸ™ the weather is ok, otherwise, when DS is in pri 1 next yr, then very hard to plan holidays liao.

hk in fact is quite far away from japan fukushima nuclear plant. no point to scare by the minimal radiation detected recently. hk people are more sensitive to those life threatening thing, and we don't think its a big deal of the radiation. otherwise most of us fly to other countries already.

july, aug and early sept is pretty hot in hk. the hot sensation is that even at night you still feel the hot air rising from the ground. not to mention daytime. try bring your kids to hk in late sept, oct and early nov. you will enjoy the autumn beauty there. the sky always blue, air is better in autumn, daytime is hot but not crazily hot, evening time can enjoy breezy cool. very nice. have a night walk and go for dessert with your loved ones was what i enjoyed the most.

my line of work doesnt allow me to apply leave in nov & dec leh... haiz 😒

yeah booking hotel is always the biggest trouble going hk. try the hotel at tsing yi island, or tin shui wai. may be cheaper as they are not close to the shopping regions. the public transport is as good as in singapore so not a big problem to stay in less centralised hotels. 😎

Anyone stayed in Cosmopolitan hotel at Causeway bay area before??? Read it’s a new 4 star.

I am going in June and looking for a hotel near Grand Hyatt as hubby will be staying there for business. I am going to HK alone before he arrives so looking for 1 nite accomodation in a not too far away hotel. It must be convenient and decent. As he arrives at close to midnite, I wanted a place not too far so that it’s easy for me to switch hotel.

Thanks. I saw it. I decided to put up at Holiday Inn Express instead. Since it's only for a night and it is just beside times square.

the last trip we went, we booked our flight and disney hotel (with 2 days pass) via a Singapore tour agency, the deal came out to be cheaper if we were to book the flight & disney package separately on our own then.

May I know which agency and how much you paid for per pax?
