Hi sall, i cannot remember what E&C means but during that week is practically leadership camp or overseas trip. I think yr 1 & 2 also have some kind of leadership programs. Last time yr 3 went for outward bound camp.

Dd always tell me, after all the CCAs finish their competition, its their turn.

E&C is Explorers and Connectors Week.

RV Chinese Orchestra junior high achieved Gold with Honours in SYF too. Congratulation !!!

DD in Junior High, trians twice a week 3pm to 6.30pm, same as other CCAs. They have to train on some Sat when it is near to SYF. During last Dec holiday, they went back about a week for intensive training, inclusive of physical training. As you can see from the performance, good stamina is required. I heard at times, the physical training is a continuous stretch of 7 hours.
Not sure about the training sessions for Seniors though.

these schools COP were quite stable,
unlike RV which experienced a sudden drop from ard 255/254 to 251,
not a surprise that it moves a few points up.

I thought the drop was not for RV alone. The drop for that year was almost across the board for top schools including RI , RGS, HCI, DHS, NJC, SCGS etc.
Our dd's batch generally had a lower aggregate compared to other years as they had tough Maths and Science papers, remember ?

What I meant is that as comparing to HCI, NJC and DHS, RV COP had dropped slightly more,
and it’s COP is unlikely to maintain at that “attractive level\" for long esp when RV is an IP school.
Quoting an example is like the stock market........
when a good stock dropped to an attractive level, it won’t stay long at that level…….

so far RV has not organized badminton tournament for primary students...unless it is new this year.

but there is DSA for badminton though. hope these help.

The first graduating batch that just received their excellent, better-than-expected A level results has a COP of \"only\" 251. So 2009 (justsay's daughter batch) 251 wasn't the fist time.
