Hot usually means clear blue sky, which is ideal for seeing the snow capped mountains in their full glory.

and photos will turn out BEAUTIFUL... like postcards!

Agree, with clear blue sky, photos are indeed like postcards!

But generally, we have been experiencing clear blue sky in Europe in Spring and Summer. Autumn in the US was good too.

Of course, buy a lot of chocolates back!
That was the first thing that my DD said she's gonna do when we told her about going to Switzerland for a holiday. Her mind is always on food!

for Zermatt and Chamonix, both summer and winter has its own beauty

one in Swiss and one in France, on opposite side of the Alps

if one is having holiday in Swiss, it is an opportunity to take in that part of France as well, via Geneva
Decided to go Swiss this time, air-tickets more available compared to the French side. For you, do you prefer going in Summer or Winter?

Not sure about Mont Blanc, but you must drop by Bucherer to take a look at the watches, especially Rolex... and don't forget to get your free ROLEX teaspoon from Bucherer. Vouchers can be obtained either from tour guide, or from hotel lobby. Check with hotel staff. Each person is entitled to 1 ROLEX Spoon. :celebrate:

Wow, thanks for the tip! Now must remember to go there and get 4 ROLEX Spoon... kiasu mah.

Ok, will strike that off the shopping list. What other things worth buying besides watch (although I'm actually eyeing a french brand right now) and chocolates?
