Hi all, my son is going to be P1 next year and we are choosing between Endeavour or Canberra. Distance-wise our house is very much nearer to Canberra. However we are very impressed with all the good feedback for Endeavour's Principal.
We understand that Endeavour only conduct HCL, is that true ? My son is really weak in CL and he can't even understand his K2 teacher and tution teacher.
Which school is better, if I want a school that is people-oriented and have normal CL ?
ps. Is Berries good ? Are the teachers all native speakers ? My son's current one is from PRC...

came upon this when browsing for primary school. Same qns that I wanna ask... My gal is going P1 next year and still deciding btwn these 2 schools ie, Endeavour & Canberra. Any feedback please?? thks! -
Hi,
Canberra is a future school...... so i think alot is based on using computer. But, nowadays, most schools are very much into computers.
Endeavour is a new school so being new, it's a school with smaller population with newer facilities. As for results, they don't have P6, so can't tell much yet. :? -

Why no one talk about Canberra since its the most popular school in Sembawang. :?

If you ask me which school, I would say why not Sembawang Pri.
My child is there now, I must say that they have done very well since the change in Principal some years ago. It is definitely one of the better schools there. -

Really appreciate your effort SPI. Anyway my daughter will be studying in Canberra next year. Feeling really lucky this year. Hope all the effort of sending her to all those enrichment class helps.
Very excited to see her wear the P1 school uniform. When I was P1 I was so proud wearing everything new and comb my hair side parting to a shine with my father blu cream.... those were the days....

Hi, any feedback on Wellington Primary School? Have registered my girl there but was kinda surprise the applications for this morning session school is not that high.

Hi, came across this thread while searching for schools in Sembawang. Itβs really a great help especially my daughter is going to primary one next year. I have registered her under RGPS as hubby said try our luck. Going balloting next tue, not very optimistic though. If not will be either Wellington or Sembawang. Still undecided. Can anyone furnish me with details about the standards of chinese or malay language in primary schools? Which is easier to score? This is because Iβm married to a muslim so can choose either one. Sheβs very weak in either one. Donβt want to kill her.

SPI, thanks for the link. Yah....feel much better about Wellington school now. At P1, my priority is for her to adapt to new school system and her welfare. Don't want her to be stressed out now...not yet

ZINC, to score, Malay is definitely easier than Chinese. FYI, due to personal issue, I've sent my elder girl to study P1 - P2 in JB and despite zero foundation in Malay, as she did her pre school in Spore, she managed to score at worst 50+. Maybe becos Malay words using alphabets and easy to spell. However, personally, I would think learning Chinese is more useful for her future......
