Bilberry does not improve or prevent anything. It simply slows down the process of the eye sight getting worse.

I'm not sure about Berry essence. But cod liver oil is usually encouraged by doctors.

What about 'Guo Qi ZHi' or aka Wolfberry? I heard they are suppose to be good for eyesight though

                    Hi parents,

My youngest refuses to take cod liver old and compared to my older one, he is always getting sick. Anyone knows how to get your child to take cod liver oil if they hate the smell?

They have an orange flavour version, have you let the kids tried it. Otherwise, you may have to give it to them in the capsules form...

                        How old is your youngest?

My DD also refused it at first. So my MIL cleverly mixed it with rice. Now she is quite used to the taste. So it's easier now.

Perhaps you want to try the GNC's one? I bought that one after I finished the Scott's cuz GNC's one always requires only a small dose, so it's easier to make my DD swallow whilst the Scotts one is a tablespoon.

I also make it a point to spoon feed my DD with water whenever I can, although she doesn't to be fed water like that. I just want to ensure that she takes plenty of water as she is easily heaty like me. Also it gives me a chance to bond with her when I spoonfeed her. So when I need to feed her with cod liver oil, supplements or any medication (when she's sick), I will do it when I feed her water.
