Booklet A comprises 60 marks. So it's best to try and score in that section. Booklet B requires more effort & thinking to answer the questions.

Yes, agrees with Janet - being telling DD1 to be careful and reads the MCQ to pick up keyword(s) then attempt to it. πŸ˜„

Not easy - to study & prepare for Science 😒

Today we also whole day at home as dd was given EL, Maths, Science and CL school test paper as homework. EL and Maths are quite alright that can finish fast except the Science papers that has to spend time to check through the guide book or google in order to answer the questions.

I prepared my son for 2 tough weekends to try to cover as much as we can. This is SA1, cannot play play. For CL, I am doing the 'Language component'

          Hi Champion,

I like Helen Lee's Upper Block New Syllabus Science.
But have to be careful with the answers...some can be wrong...then have to google to confirm. http://i52.tinypic.com/m8nwcz.jpg\">

            Hi Janet,
Thanks for the advise; appreciates much :salute: :salute:

In fact, DD1 did not even attempt any of the revision exercise in this Helen Lee's Lower Block New Syllabus Science Book 1  .....Mainly she will refer to this book when she unable to understand those \"gigantic\" words in Ultimate Science Guide and the Science Partners. :scratchhead: ...So for reading & reference purposes, the sequencing order of guide books use is as follows:-

Choice No. 1 Ultimate Science Guide by EPH

Choice No. 2 Primary 3/4 Science Partner: A Complete Guide To Lower Block Science 3/4 by SAP

Choice No. 3 Helen Lee's Lower Block New Syllabus Science Book 1

In fact, have another guide book but guess that will be \"cold-storage\" forever lioa - find the notes too......oooo....brief  Lower Blk Science Exam Booster Notes by Carol Phua - EPH http://i56.tinypic.com/24pz79h.jpg\">

Agrees - At times have to google or to post the questions in the P3/4 Science thread to have others to help & advise :grphug:

              Hi Champion,
For referencing purposes, we also go straight for the Ultimate guide. But for reading, we go for the simplest first (in our case, Janet Sim). After covering simpler guides, then we move onto detailed guides because we want to cover as much basics as possible instead of stuck/spending too much time at the details in Ultimate and then become pressed for time as time runs out and unable to cover all topics.
              My 2 cents.

I go straight to do Science questions, esp OE ones...for MCQ, to try his best to answer, if really don't know then 'humtum anyone...still have 25% chance of getting right'. For OE, also must write something. When I mark after that, I will write down the answer and underline what I think is keyword.

I don't use Just Education, must be some quotes mixed up along the way.

You will need at least one Science Guides so look at these two :
                        EPH PSLE Ultimate Science Guide
                        PSLE Revision Guide

                        I bought both πŸ˜‰
Assessment books, there are different opinions. I personally prefer Janet Sim.
