Back....took my girl's CW compo book while she is eating lunch now.

She used 2 boxes when there are 2 punctuations such as : and \", . and \" or ! and \". Asked her, she said her P3 CL tr and current CL tr (HOD) said use 2 boxes. P2, she does not rem her CL ever said that?! :roll: :lol:

Dd was instructed by the CL T to give one box for each punctuation, for example : \" (two boxes) and ! \" (two boxes).

My dd's creative writing teacher told them that they can write !\" in one box, so did her P2 CL T.

I told my dd to listen to her current T, but she said the exam paper might not be marked by him. :roll:

How should it be done? Parents with CL HOD as CL T or other CL Ts, please kindly advise.

Normally we use :\" in one box, the rules as following,
文章每段开头空两个格。
如果文章中有人与人之间的对话，冒号和上引号写在一个格里。
如果凑巧冒号和上引号要写在这一行的最后一个格里，那么冒号写在最后一个格子里，上引号转到下一行。
对话节尾的句号或者感叹号和下引号写在一个格里。
标点符号（上引号除外）都不能写在每行的第一个格里，那个标点要和上一行末尾的字写在一个格里。
破折号占两个格。
But my dd has to follow her CL T's. and , this punctuation maybe found in the first box, it seems funny, 看起来实在很不规范，但是没办法，小孩子只相信老师。
Btw, 第11课，课本用词为“捉弄”， 可听写却是“作弄”，虽然是通用字，但我怀疑，老师真的清楚吗？
