All About Primary Schools' Balloting History

Another reason could be they want to increase the number of vancacy for phase 2C, so they can attract more people outside 2km, hoepfully including some rich and famousAllow me to add on to the reason for the decrease number in Phase 2B. In order not to subject PV to balloting during 2B, Rosyth is very prudent as to limit its PV numbers. If I am not wrong, Rosyth turned away close to hundred of PV applicants yearly so as to ensure PV's effort are not wasted.
Put in the another way, if you have been selected as a PV in Rosyth, chances of your P1 registration is pretty high.

Anyone can explain how to read the DEV TUR? Positive or negative number is a good sign? For the case of Radin Mas where it is 16% meaning what to a Parents if trying in Phase 2C?
I think positive means the current year TUR is higher than the historical (2006 to 2008), meaning no good for current year registration i.e. less places now than historically.
Oh thanks. If the Dev TUR is higher like Radin Mas 16% which is not a good sign for those competiting in Phase 2C? Ok can understand the balloting chart now. :celebrate: -

may i know who r the people who are doing the balloting? PVs or school staff? do we call the school up to check when they r doing the ballot so that anxious parents can witness?
I know that the parents who are involved in the phase that is being balloted can be present but I don't know about the rest of the public.
Hi!
Usually people doing ballot are principals, committee and PVs. U will be informed when there is a need for yr child to go for ballet. -
If I fail at the ballot, does it automatically dump me into Phrase 2C or it would be I will have to apply afresh at the school of my choice, even if it is the same school? Help me understand this.

Yes. you need to submit a fresh application.
Just to be sure - So everyone (incl those who fail ballot in 2B) vie for the no. of avail vacancies on the same grounds all over again in Phrase 2C base on distance if balloting, correct?
