I know that the parents who are involved in the phase that is being balloted can be present but I don't know about the rest of the public.
may i know who r the people who are doing the balloting? PVs or school staff? do we call the school up to check when they r doing the ballot so that anxious parents can witness? 🙏[/quote]Hi!

Usually people doing ballot are principals, committee and PVs. U will be informed when there is a need for yr child to go for ballet.

If I fail at the ballot, does it automatically dump me into Phrase 2C or it would be I will have to apply afresh at the school of my choice, even if it is the same school? Help me understand this.

Yes. Every phase is treated separately and independently. So if you're unsuccessful at Phase 2B, you will need to put in a fresh application for Phase 2C.

If number of applicants exceeded the available vacanies by 1, will ballot be conducted? Or school will make an exception and admit the 1 child? Anyone with experience to share? :?

depends on individual school. there are previous case of this happening but if i am not wrong, only when all vacancies are filled.
